Currently companies are placing more emphasis on filling research, e-commerce, consulting, and information management positions, in addition to the need for business and engineering graduates. Some highlights from this report include: Sales and marketing positions are being offered in almost 50% of all surveyed companies; Hot majors include: all majors, accounting, nursing, civil and environmental engineering, electrical engineering, and pharmacy. Companies who have set definite hiring targets show a 13% expansion in the labor market.
