Cyber Career Planning & Counseling

The Career Services Center will be offering internet-based career planning & counseling services for students and alumni.  This service is a comprehensive approach to career exploration, planning, and development that you can do from the comfort of your home or residence hall.  If you are interested in this technological approach, you will be given the website to access the assessments and a batch code to take up to three different career assessments including:

-Kuder Interest Inventory
-Kuder Skills Assessment
-Super’s Work Values Inventory

This is the first electronic system to combine interest, skills, and work values assessments with occupational sources online.  It is totally self-paced and can be taken over any period of time you choose.  It includes an online searchable database that matches your results with occupations, majors, and occupational information.  Upon completion of the assessments, you can get an online interpretation of your results by the Career Center, John Liptak, Associate Director of Career Counseling & Assessment.  The future is now…..to begin cyber career planning and counseling or for additional information, please contact the Career Services Center:

SIGI 3

SIGI 3 is a computerized-based up-to-date educational and career planning program.  It helps you to pinpoint their career options based on your interests, values, and education.  In addition, it searches and prints out occupational information with critical major and educational requirements.  Because you can complete the program at your own pace, SIGI 3 allows you to take charge of your own career exploration and decision making.
